A Serbian company developed a sharp-edge technology which is capable to determine botanical origin, sugar and/or water addition to wine, fruit juices/concentrates, honey and strong spirits. The innovation has granted a patent in over 30 countries. This isotopic method was accepted by experts of the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine) as a new approach to detect an adulteration of wine.
